SupplementTruth exists because most supplement review sites read like sales pages wearing a review’s clothing. We built this one around a different idea: check the actual research, say plainly when a product’s marketing gets ahead of it, and apply the same standard whether or not that costs us a commission.

What We Actually Do

Every review on this site starts with the label and the claims made about it. We trace cited studies back to their original source whenever one is named, read the actual paper rather than the marketing summary of it, and compare the product’s ingredient doses against the amounts used in that research. Where a claim doesn’t hold up under that check, we say so directly rather than softening it.

We score every product on five fixed criteria: ingredient dosing, available evidence, transparency and guarantee terms, user feedback, and value for money. The same weighting applies to every review, regardless of what a product pays in commission.

Why We Started This Site

The men’s health supplement category is full of products making near-identical claims, often backed by nothing more than an ingredient list with a loosely related study attached to it. Some go further: citing a real clinical trial that, on closer inspection, tested a different product entirely, or presenting a statistic in a way that’s technically calculated correctly but genuinely misleading about what it means. We think readers deserve to know the difference, and we built this site to make that check for them.

What this site is not: We are not a medical practice, and nothing here is medical advice. We are an independent publisher that researches and scores supplements — always talk to a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, especially if you take medication or have an existing health condition.

How We Make Money
