One real placebo-controlled trial, at the dose on the label. One study, though, and fine print on the refund.
Testosil
“434% more testosterone” is really about 15% — and matching the study takes eight capsules a day.
Semenax
The only volume pill with a published trial — but the trial used eight capsules a day, and the bottle says four.
GenF20 Plus
The trial missed its main goal. The “28%” came from a subgroup picked afterwards.
Erectin
Its “clinical study” tested VigRX Plus — and the two cost exactly the same.
How we review a supplement
- Find the claim and trace it.We take the biggest number on the sales page and find the study it came from. Then we read the study — methods, dose, results, and who paid for it.
- Match the dose to the label.We count how many capsules it takes to reach the dose that was tested, and what that does to the real price.
- Price it per day, with the date.Every bundle on the seller’s own order page, converted to cost per day at the label dose and the studied dose.
- Read the refund terms line by line.How many opened bottles are covered, who pays shipping, and when the clock really runs out.

Who writes these reviews?
The SupplementsTruth editorial team. We’re an independent publisher, not doctors or a lab, and we don’t claim to be. What we do is read the research and the fine print carefully, and show our sources so you can check them.
Do you test the products yourselves?
No. We don’t run lab tests or clinical trials. We review the published trials, the labels, the seller’s prices and the refund terms. Where a brand publishes a third-party lab certificate, we say so and note its date.
How do you make money?

How are scores calculated?
Every product is scored on the same five weighted criteria: ingredient dosing (30%), evidence (25%), transparency and guarantee (20%), user feedback (15%) and value (10%). The full method is on our rating methodology page.
Why are none of your scores higher than 7.6?
Because none of the products we’ve reviewed has more than one finished-product trial, and none of those trials has been independently repeated. A higher score needs stronger evidence than that.
How often do you update reviews?
Every review shows the date we last checked prices and terms. We recheck when a formula, price or guarantee changes, or when new research is published.
Can I check your work?
Yes — that’s the point. Each review names the study it relies on, with enough detail to find it, and dates every price. If you spot something we got wrong, tell us and we’ll correct it.
