Semenax Complaints: What Unhappy Buyers Actually Report — and What’s Behind Each One

Every supplement has unhappy customers. What matters is what they’re unhappy about, how often, and whether you can avoid the same outcome. We pulled together what’s publicly visible about Semenax complaints — Trustpilot, the BBB, and the same company’s other brands — and matched each complaint to its likely cause.

Most complaints come down to one thing: it didn’t work for that person. That’s consistent with the trial, where about half the men didn’t reach a 20% increase. Delivery delays, sales calls and refund disputes make up most of the rest.

  • Trustpilot: 4.4/5, ~1,189 reviews
  • 12% one-star
  • BBB: 1 complaint in 3 years
  • Top issue: no effect

The numbers first

On 2 November 2026, Semenax’s Trustpilot listing showed a TrustScore of 4.4 out of 5 from about 1,189 reviews. That means roughly 200 people left one or two stars.

SourceWhat it showed
Trustpilot (semenax.com)4.4/5 · ~1,189 reviews · company invites reviews · replies to about 60% of negative reviews, usually within 24 hours
BBB (Leading Edge Health)A+ rating · accredited since 2016 · 1 complaint in the last 3 years · 2 recent negative reviews (one “scam”, one refused refund)
Trustpilot (Volume Pills, same maker)4.0/5 · 138 reviews · complaints include phone pressure to buy more and slow or missing deliveries
Trustpilot (VigRX Plus, same maker)4.1/5 · 419 reviews · complaints include slow free shipping, sales calls after purchase and refund requests

Two cautions. Because the company invites customers to review, the overall score likely flatters it. And BBB complaint counts are low for most online sellers, because unhappy buyers rarely file there. So we don’t treat any single number as the truth — we look for the patterns that repeat.

The five complaint types, and what’s behind each

1. “It didn’t do anything for me”

How common: the most frequent complaint by far. Trustpilot’s own summary of recent reviews notes buyers who “did not see any noticeable results even after taking it for multiple weeks”, and others who found effects inconsistent.

What’s behind it: this is exactly what the trial predicts. In the published study, 50% of men on Semenax reached a 20%+ volume increase — so the other half didn’t. The average gain was about 0.5 ml, which some men won’t notice. And the trial used eight capsules a day, while the bottle says four.

How to avoid it: set realistic expectations, judge it under consistent conditions (see our how-to-take guide), and plan your refund in case you’re in the half that doesn’t respond.

2. “Too expensive for what it does”

How common: the second most common theme, including in three- and four-star reviews (“not much but kinda expensive”).

What’s behind it: Semenax costs $1.11 to $1.97 a day at the bottle’s dose, and double that at the trial’s dose. Against a half-millilitre average effect, many buyers decide it isn’t worth it.

How to avoid it: work out the real cost before you buy — our price guide shows every package per day — and start with the 3-bottle pack rather than the 12.

3. Slow or missing deliveries

How common: occasional on Semenax’s own listing, more visible on the company’s other brands, where reviewers mention slow delivery on the free-shipping option and the odd lost or misdelivered package.

What’s behind it: free shipping is the slow option, and orders to P.O. boxes go by untracked airmail that can take three to four weeks. Because the refund window starts at delivery, a slow delivery doesn’t cost you refund time — but a lost one is frustrating.

How to avoid it: use a street address, not a P.O. box; track the order at the company’s shipping portal; contact support if it hasn’t moved in a week.

4. Sales calls and upsells

How common: reported on the company’s VigRX Plus and Volume Pills listings — “unwanted upselling calls after purchase” and “pressure to buy additional products by phone”.

What’s behind it: the order page asks for a phone number, and it offers add-ons such as a “Semenax HDP” sign-up.

How to avoid it: read every add-on before ticking it, decline politely if you’re called, and ask to be removed from call lists.

5. Refund disputes

How common: present, but less common than the complaints above. The BBB profile shows one recent review saying a refund was refused.

What’s behind it: the guarantee has strict terms that are easy to miss: the return must arrive within 67 days of delivery, the page says not to ship after day 60, only two opened bottles are refundable, shipping isn’t refunded, and it’s one refund per customer. Buying from a third-party seller can also leave you outside it.

How to avoid it: follow the timeline and steps in our refund guide — decide by day 50, ship by day 60 with tracking, keep the empty bottles.

What about side-effect complaints?

We saw few side-effect complaints in the public reviews we could read. That fits the trial: there were no serious adverse events, and the side effects judged probably related to Semenax were acidity, abdominal pain and bloating — five cases in total — plus one headache judged possibly related. Taking the capsules with meals, as directed, may help. If you experience anything more than mild stomach upset, stop and see a doctor.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most common Semenax complaint?

That it didn’t produce a noticeable change. That matches the trial, where about half of users didn’t reach a 20% volume increase.

Does Semenax have a lot of bad reviews?

About 17% of its roughly 1,189 Trustpilot reviews were one or two stars on 2 November 2026. Because the company invites reviews, the true share of unhappy buyers may be higher.

Has anyone had trouble getting a Semenax refund?

Some buyers report it. The terms are strict — returns must arrive within 67 days of delivery, only two opened bottles count and it’s one refund per customer — so most problems can be avoided by planning ahead.

Does the Semenax company respond to complaints?

On Trustpilot, the listing shows replies to about 60% of negative reviews, usually within 24 hours. On the BBB, the company is rated A+ with one complaint in three years.

Are there complaints about Semenax side effects?

Few in the public reviews we read. The trial reported mild stomach issues in a handful of users and no serious side effects.

More on Semenax

How we put this together. On 2 November 2026 we recorded the Trustpilot listings for Semenax, VigRX Plus and Volume Pills and Leading Edge Health’s BBB profile, read the visible reviews and summaries, and matched recurring complaints to the trial results and the official terms. We could only see part of the review history, so we describe patterns rather than exact counts for each complaint type.
