Semenax vs Volume Pills: Same Company, Same Goal — Only One Has Been Tested

Semenax and Volume Pills are both sold by Leading Edge Health, both promise bigger loads, and they cost exactly the same. The differences are in what’s been proven and what’s on the label. One has a published placebo-controlled trial and lists its doses; the other has neither and advertises “up to 500% more”.

At exactly the same price and with the same guarantee, Semenax gives you a tested formula and disclosed doses. Volume Pills gives you a proprietary blend and an unsourced 500% claim. We’d choose Semenax.

Evidence: a trial vs. a claim

This is the whole comparison in one sentence: Semenax has been tested against a placebo, and Volume Pills, as far as we could find, hasn’t. An independent review by Innerbody notes that the company “hasn’t subjected Volume Pills to clinical trials”, and we found none either.

Semenax’s trial isn’t perfect — it was funded by the company, it used twice the bottle’s daily dose, and the average gain was about half a millilitre. But it gives you a realistic, measured expectation. Volume Pills gives you “up to 500% more” with no study behind the number. A 500% increase would mean an average man going from about 2.5 ml to about 15 ml — an extra 12.5 ml, roughly 25 times the average gain measured in Semenax’s trial.

Semenax: average change in the 2022 placebo-controlled trial. Volume Pills: marketing claim, no study cited. Bars drawn to scale.

The labels: disclosed vs. blended

Semenax’s ingredient amounts are reported individually — for example, 500 mg each of L-carnitine and Butea superba, 400 mg of maca, 250 mg each of L-arginine and L-lysine, and 30 mg of zinc aspartate per serving. You can compare each one with research doses, which is how we found most of them are on the low side.

Volume Pills lists ingredients such as Solidilin, Xi lan rou gui, Hong hua fen, Ku gua, apigenin (4,5,7-trihydroxyflavone), Emblica officinalis, San guo mu and Dong chong xia cao (cordyceps). According to Innerbody, only the zinc (24 mg of zinc gluconate) has its own stated dose; everything else sits in a proprietary blend of about 1,458 mg. That means you can’t tell how much of any one herb you’re taking — and neither can we.

Why proprietary blends matter. A blend lets a label list a long, impressive-sounding ingredient list while most of the weight goes to the cheapest one. It’s legal, and it isn’t proof of anything bad — but it makes the product impossible to check.

Price and guarantee

Semenax costs $59 for one bottle, $159 for three, $289 for six and $399 for twelve on its official order page (2 November 2026). Volume Pills’ official order page showed exactly the same totals on 3 November 2026: $59, $159, $289 and $399, for boxes of 60 tablets.

The guarantees are effectively identical, because Leading Edge Health uses the same “Empty Container Guarantee” across its brands: returns received within 67 days of delivery, your first two opened containers plus any unopened ones, shipping not refunded, one refund per customer. Our Semenax refund guide applies almost word for word to Volume Pills.

So you’re paying exactly the same and getting the same refund protection. The only real difference is what’s behind the formula.

Trustpilot listings as displayed on 2 November 2026. Both companies invite reviews, which tends to lift scores.

Neither set of reviews changes the picture much. Volume Pills’ lower one-star share comes from a far smaller and less active pool of reviews. The most useful signal is the same for both: some men notice a difference, and plenty don’t.

Which should you choose?

  • Choose Semenax if you want the volume product with actual evidence and disclosed doses. That’s almost everyone.
  • Choose Volume Pills only if you’ve already tried Semenax without success and want to try a completely different set of botanicals — knowing it’s untested.
  • Choose neither if your volume dropped suddenly, came with pain, or started after a new medication. See a doctor first.

Frequently asked questions

Is Semenax better than Volume Pills?

On evidence, yes. Semenax has a published placebo-controlled trial; we found none for Volume Pills. They cost exactly the same and have the same guarantee.

Are Semenax and Volume Pills made by the same company?

Yes. Both are sold by Leading Edge Health, which also sells VigRX Plus.

Does Volume Pills really increase volume by 500%?

There’s no published study supporting that number. Semenax’s trial, the best evidence in this category, found an average increase of about 20%.

Can I take Semenax and Volume Pills together?

We wouldn’t. Neither has been tested in combination, Volume Pills’ doses aren’t disclosed, and both contain zinc.

Which is cheaper, Semenax or Volume Pills?

Neither. Both cost $59, $159, $289 and $399 for one, three, six and twelve units on their official order pages.
